Isla Is Coming…Isla Is Coming!!

Can you believe a book we’ve all been waiting for is almost here! On August 14, 2014, Stephanie Perkins’ Isla and the Happily Ever After will hit bookshelves and I’m jumping for joy! The longly awaited and highly anticipated novel will now complete her companion series that starts with Anna and the French Kiss (my personal favorite) followed by Lola and the Boy Next Door. So….are you ready to get your Happily Ever After, readers??

Recently with all the anticipation mounting a few bloggers and I have teamed up to bring you fun Stephanie Perkins goodies! A readalong, fun posts in retrospect to the books, oodles of joy, maybe even giveaways? Let the fun begin! I’ll be joined by Judith from Paper Riot, Andi from Andi ABCs, Meg from Cuddlebuggery Book Blog, and Jamie from the Perpetual Page-Turner. We are so looking forward to the release that we’ve decided to do a blog tour and would love for you all to participate in helping with the readalong of the books before Isla gets into our hands! The readalong starts on July 31 and ends August 20. Don’t forget if you’re following along to make sure you use the hashtag on Twitter #IslaIsComing Also fellow bloggers will be doing guest posts as well…all in good preparation, people! The tentative schedule starts with Judith hosting the Anna and the French Kiss readalong, Meg hosting the Lola and the Boy Next Door readalong, to then end with Jamie hosting the Isla and the Happily Ever After readalong (the one we’ve all been waiting for!!)

If you want in, add your name to the link-up below and add the button that Meg made to your blog linking back to one of us. Time for all of us to get our Happily Ever After on.

  2. I just joined this the other day and am excited to read this series for the first time!
One question, though – are there reading goals for each date? Are we supposed to read to a certain point in the book at a certain time or are those dates just for “celebrations” ? Thanks!

    • Sorry I haven’t gotten back to you sooner–hope you’ve been reading along 🙂 We actually just thought it would be fun for everyone to read at their own pace, keep in time with books when they switch up to the next! Don’t forget to check the #IslaIsComing hashtag on twitter to add to the convos for the readalong!!

      • Thank you! Yeah I finished Anna within the first two days haha but I want to read along with everyone else so I’m holding off on Lola until the time comes. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to keep up because I don’t read as much as I uses to, but I’ve been going through books like crazy lately.
